Gorgeous Light Filled Shower

This incredible Ottawa bathroom features soft wooden tones and purple accents that pop in the serene glow of the natural light. Large glass bricks let speckled light hit the tile to create textured patterns and a peaceful atmosphere. Everything is kept simple here, letting the materials shine - the beautiful wood, the purple tile, and the metal shower accents. The overall feel is spa-like and peaceful. The blend of natural wood and shiny, colourful tile make a very peaceful combination of textures and hues. The sun reflects off the metal shower handles in speckled rays from the shape of the glass bricks, scattering the light. Leaving the older wooden features makes the newer added materials belong perfectly within the space.
A word from the owners
We wanted as much light as possible in our shower. We decided on the glass bricks to provide both privacy and a lovely, textured light. The shower itself is large enough that we were able to forgo a glass enclosure, creating an open, airy feeling for the space.
